Architecture & Technical Leadership

Senior engineering at the table when you decide what to build, buy, migrate or replace.

What this covers

The decisions that set what your environment costs and how well it holds up, made with someone who has to live with the result.

  • ArchitectureInfrastructure design and migrations planned against how the business actually operates
  • Roadmaps & budgetingA sequenced plan with the cost and the dependencies stated, not a wish list
  • Vendor oversightEvaluation of proposals and contracts, and technical scrutiny of what a vendor delivers
  • Project deliveryOwnership of the technical side of a project through to a working, documented result
  • Executive advisoryA direct answer to technology questions, in language the rest of the leadership team can act on

How it is delivered

This work is delivered as Virtual CTO and is scoped separately from managed service. Taking advisory support does not by itself put your environment under our management.

It works as a standalone engagement and it works alongside Managed IT Essentials. What changes is who executes the plan once it exists.

How this connects to the rest of the environment

Architecture decisions set the ceiling for the other two. What you choose to run determines how much there is to manage, and how much exposure has to be controlled afterwards.

How an engagement starts

Every engagement starts with a conversation about your environment. If there is a fit, we agree the scope and the fee for an assessment before any work begins.

The assessment establishes what exists today, what is exposed, and what needs correcting first. You receive an overview of the environment, a prioritized list of risks and gaps, and a practical remediation roadmap.

Facing a decision you do not want to get wrong?

Start with a conversation about what you are weighing up. Scope and fee are agreed before any work begins.
